Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, a distinguished leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and Chief Executive Officer of Bullion Records, was among the esteemed dignitaries who gathered to honor the illustrious career of CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha (psc), the former Ogun State Commissioner of Police, during his grand Pull-Out Parade and Retirement Celebration.

This momentous occasion, held at the prestigious Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta on Monday, December 9, 2024, marked the culmination of CP Alamutu’s remarkable tenure as the 36th Commissioner of Police in Ogun State.

Speaking at the event, Ajadi praised CP Alamutu for his exemplary service to Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.

“CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha has been a beacon of hope and discipline in the Nigerian Police Force. His leadership as Ogun State Commissioner of Police brought stability and fostered a better relationship between the police and the public. His legacy is one of integrity and service to humanity,” Ajadi remarked.

Ajadi, accompanied by an entourage of prominent NNPP officials, emphasized the importance of recognizing individuals who have dedicated their lives to public service.

“Retirement is not the end but the beginning of a new chapter. CP Alamutu deserves to be celebrated for his commitment to a safer society. We wish him all the best in this new phase of his life,” Ajadi added.

Ambassador Ajadi reiterated his call for leaders in various sectors to emulate CP Alamutu’s dedication and commitment to duty.

“Nigeria needs more individuals like him, who prioritize the welfare and safety of their communities. Let us all strive to leave a legacy of service,” he stated.

Joining Ajadi at the ceremony were Kilamuwaye Badmus, the South West Public Relations Officer of the NNPP; Hon. Kehinde Teluwo, NNPP’s 2023 senatorial candidate for Ogun West; Comrade Olowu Omokehinde, the Ogun State Public Relations Officer of NNPP; Hon. Adenaya Fatai Modawoni, the 2023 Waterside Assembly candidate; Comrade Semiu Akingbala, Ogun Central Senatorial Chairman; and Comrade Biola, Ogun State Auditor of the NNPP.

The retirement ceremony was attended by an array of dignitaries from various sectors, who paid glowing tributes to CP Alamutu’s career achievements.

As part of the celebration, traditional leaders, political figures, and community representatives lauded his efforts in fostering peace and addressing crime in the state.

In his response, CP Alamutu expressed gratitude to all those who gathered to celebrate his retirement.

“It has been an honor to serve the people of Ogun State and Nigeria. I am grateful for the support I received throughout my career and for this wonderful celebration of my journey,” he stated.

The event, which featured cultural displays and tributes, highlighted the respect and admiration CP Alamutu earned during his tenure.

The celebration reinforced the importance of recognizing public servants whose work positively impacts society.
