Doja Cat surpasses Cardi B as second top-selling female rapper

Grammy-winning rapper and singer Doja Cat has surpassed her colleague Cardi B to become the second highest-selling female rapper in history, according to Billboard rankings.

Nicki Minaj retains her reign as the highest-selling female rapper both in the United States and globally, solidifying her legendary status in the music industry.

In the U.S., Cardi B has dropped to fourth place in sales rankings, trailing behind Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion. Globally, however, Cardi B holds the third spot behind Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat.

Billboard’s rankings reflect worldwide sales and performance on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts, cementing the dominance of these artists in the rap genre.

Beyond rap, Taylor Swift has been crowned the biggest artist of the 21st century, a testament to her immense influence and commercial success. Canadian rapper Drake claimed the title of the biggest rapper of the century, while Maroon 5 was named the biggest group. Destiny’s Child holds the title of the biggest girl group of the 21st century.
