Lynn performed Anita Baker’s classics Sweet Love, but failed to wow the audience based on her earlier performance during the international pop and rock hits of the 80s.

The show proper had the Top 7 serenade the studio audience and television viewers with their vocal delivery of the 80s hits led by Vicky, who performed That’s What Friends Are For by Dionne Warwick. ‘Bulky’ Christian did Billy Ocean’s Suddenly, Oni did One Moment In Time by Whitney Houston, Mattade brought back memories of late pop king Michael Jackson’s I’ll Be There.

Tee Songz was the main guy of the night with his stage presence during his performance of All Night Long by Lionel Richie. Precious did Kool & The Gang’s Ladies Night, while sultry Am OK belted out At Last by Ella Fitzgerald.

In his comment after the performances, guest judge and star singer, Sound Sultan, wished he had paid for Tee Songz’ performance which was the highlight of his show and his low was Precious.

Music icon, Onyeka Onwenu’s highlights were Vicky, Oni and Tee Songz, while her low were Am OK, Mattade, Precious and Christian. The lead judge, Olisa Adibua said his lowlights were Precious, Mattade, Christian and Am OK, while his highlights were Tee Songz, Oni and Vicky.
