Residents of Olowora community in Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, South West Nigeria, have expressed satisfaction over the administration of their council boss, Mr. Kunle Soname and therefore commended him for giving them the dividends of democracy.
Speaking on behalf of the residents, the traditional ruler, High Chief Sulaimon Ogungbeye, described the chairman as a typical example of public servant/leader, who has been following the footsteps of Governor Fashola.
He stated that he was optimistic that before the chairman completes his tenure in office, Ikosi-Isheri would have attained greater height, while internal generated revenue would have multiplied.
He, however, appealed to the chairman to extend his administration’s benevolence to the people of Olowora as they desire meaningful development in the areas of community hall, grading of streets, street light, pipe borne water and electricity, among others, while also calling for quick attention on the menace of gullies caused by erosion in the area.
He enjoined his subjects to pay their tax promptly.
