Cowrie Rugby Football Club will for the second time feature in the popular Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens Tournament which will run concurrently alongside the official International Rugby Board, IRB, HSBC Sevens World Series Dubai 7’s Tournament.
The tourney, which holds from 2-4 December, this year will also see other Nigerian teams, Racing Rugby Football Club and the National Rugby team in attendance.
According to the Secretary of “Friends of Rugby†Ntiense Williams, Cowrie Rugby Sevens team will depart for the international tournament on 29 November in order to acclimatise before the commencement of the competition.
The Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens tournament is the curtain raiser event for the official IRB HSBC Sevens World Series Dubai 7’s tournament. Sixteen countries will take part in the three days tourney.
