Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, governor-elects in Ogun and Oyo states have been urged to emulate the good works their counterparts are doing in Lagos, Edo, Osun and Ekiti states after they are sworn in on May 29.
Comrade Egbetola Wasiu Olalekan a.k.a. TIA, President, Dependable Group, Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, who said this during a chat with Political Platform, added that without being sentimental, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a visionary leader to reckon with in the southwest and Nigeria as a whole.
“Kudos to the ACN National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his painstaking efforts in correcting the mistakes of the defunct Alliance for Democracy, AD, which gave undue advantage to the PDP to capture Southwest in 2003 except Lagos State, where he was the governor.
“When he picked Fashola among several contestants in 2007, his action was trailed by unfounded allegations and criticism but today, the achievements of the governor have no doubt beaten the imagination of all and sundry. In fact, his laudable achievements were also responsible or the landslide victory recorded by the ACN in the southwest in the just concluded elections,†he averred.
TIA as he his fondly called by admirers added that the electorate in the southwest voted for the ACN because they wanted the development taking place in Lagos State to be replicated in their respective states.
He further said the outcome of the April polls shows that the people have revolted against insincere leaders and any form of oppression with their votes.
