Ojodu ACN Flags Off Campaign

The Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, Hon. Julius Olumuyiwa Oloro, has flagged off his chairmanship campaign ahead of the 22 October elections into the 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas in the state.

The event which took place at Ogba bus stop, had in attendance all Action Congress, ACN, leaders in the LCDA, Traditional rulers, Community Development Committees/Community Development Association members, youths, market men and women associations, okada riders and artisans among others.

The campaign literally halted business activities at the venue as his supporters which include commercial bus drivers, cab operators and shop owners gathered to show their support for the chairmanship candidate and his team.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Oloro thanked the party leaders, traditional rules, residents for their support as he flagged off his campaign.

He used the occasion to unveil his programme for the people of Ojodu LCDA, adding that he would not relent in good representation of their interests and prompt delivery of the dividends of democracy at their doorsteps.

“If elected, I will run an all inclusive government, improve on infrastructural development, rehabilitate the roads, provide bursary awards and GCE forms to indigent students and empower the youths to be self reliant,” he pledged.

He urged the people of Ojudu LCDA and Lagosians in general to vote overwhelmingly for him and the entire ACN candidates in the coming local government elections.
