Ogun FA Cup: Handsworth Need N3.5m

These definitely are not the best of time for the defending Champions, Handsworth FC of Ogun State Challenge Cup.

Handsworth FC who emerged the winners in the last year’s Ogun State FA Cup need N3.5million to prepare for this year’s State Challenge Cup and other high profile football tournaments both in Lagos and Ogun states.

The Team Manger of the club,Tajudeen Olasunkanmi, told GSG that the club is passing through hard time, adding that there is no proper preparation on ground for the competition.

“We need to pay the players their match allowances and bonuses. My coaches need to go out and scout for players but all these things cannot be achieved because the club lacks sponsors,” he said.
