A stalwart of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in Ayobo/Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria, Otunba Ladi Oluwaloni has called for well wishers to pray for long life for the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he turns 60 years Thursday 29 March.
Oluwaloni said, “while wishing our dear Asiwaju a happy birthday, we must not forget to pray for his good health and protection, because he has a lot to do, not only for the Yoruba race but majorly for our dear nation.
“It cannot be said anymore that Asiwaju is a regional leader; he is a National leader and all that we can do for him this period is to continue to pray that God help him fulfil all the good vision he has for our great country, especially in terms of development. We need someone who has done the great transformation magic in Lagos and in the Southwest to translate same to the national level; our country needs him.
“Nelson Mandela at 92 is still a great blessing to the people of South Africa. Even at old age, his contributions to national development cannot be over-emphasized. We want our dear Asiwaju to live longer, we need his guidance, we need his mentoring, and it’s a privilege to have my political tutelage under him, which is why we must continue to pray for his good health and prosperity.”
Oluwaloni stressed further that his 60th birthday celebration should be used to reflect on the ideals the man stood for; as a consummate politician and a strong believer in the power of ideas.
