As Nigeria celebrates her 52nd independence anniversary on 1 October, Encomium magazine in conjunction with Primetime Entertainment will be rolling out the green carpet for the annual Green and White Groove.
For six hours on Independence Day, the Anchor Event Place, Agidingbi, in Ikeja, Lagos will rock uninterrupted as DJs Jimmy JATT and Vinnie, as well as the Kennis Music All Stars, entertain guests drawn from all fields.
Kunle Bakare, publisher, Encomium, said the famous independence party, put together to celebrate Nigeria and Nigerians, has become one of the most important events in the country’ social calendars and he promised that it will get even better this year.
“There are challenges, but every year, we move forward. This year, we’re celebrating our nation, and the positive-minded citizens who are determined to make Nigeria great in spite of the many hurdles,” Bakare said.
