Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Adejoke Orelope Adefulire and Speaker of Lagos House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji will be among the special guests of honour that will grace the closing ceremony of the U-15 Henry Ajomale football competition.
The final will be played between Rocky Stars Football Academy of Okota and Flaming Mauri of Lagos Island on Sunday at the Campos Sports Centre, Lagos Island.
The competition, which features 32 teams, is being sponsored by Chairman, Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Lagos Chapter, Chief Henry Ajomale.
Match coordinator, Aliu Ganiu, said they have sent letters of invitation to some personalities that will grace the final ceremony. He assured fans of maximum security during and after the game.
“We are expecting a full house at the closing ceremony and we have decided to bring in the police as part of our security measures. I can only advice our fans to comport themselves throughout the game,” he said.
In his own remark, the cup donor urged both finalists to respect the rules of the game. He advised them not to take the game as a do-or-die affair and wished them best of luck in their outing.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s encounter, Rocky Star Coach, Samson Ogunsanya boasted that they are fully ready and warned their opponents to prepare for tough game.
