ComX, an innovative digital commodities trading platform launched by AFEX, Nigeria’s leading commodities market player, will hold a webinar to encourage the participation of women and youths in alternative investment opportunities.

These alternative investment opportunities, which are provided by platforms like ComX, are necessary for wealth creation and protection in our current economic environment.

The webinar, with the theme, “Alternative Investments: Driving Youth and Women Inclusion” will hold on Thursday, September 30 by 3:30 pm.

AFEX’s Vice President, Financial Markets, Oluwafunto Olasemo, said that the webinar would focus on discussions around the concept of alternative investments and the impact of inclusion on these key segments of our population. Discussants at the webinar will also focus on how key players can work together to drive inclusion for youths and women.

“Youth and women inclusion has become a global subject across various industries and sectors with deliberations being made to create sustainable solutions,” Olasemo said, adding that “even some of the Sustainable Development Goals are youth-specific and centered on creating gender equality.”
