Foundation rolls out scholarship to Ogun students

The Olumide and Stephanie Aderinokun Foundation has rewarded 60 outstanding students in Ogun Central Senatorial District with scholarships worth N50,000 each.

The 60 recipients were drawn from the six Local Government Areas in Ogun Central after writing the qualifying examination of the foundation.

The award ceremony took place at Ontec Events Centre in Abeokuta South Local Government Area and it had over 300 students in attendance.

Founder of Olumide & Stephanie Aderinokun Foundation and the Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom, Chief Olumide Aderinokun presented the cash gifts, urging the students to keep up their hard work and also be good ambassadors to their families and communities.

Also in attendance were former Commissioner of Labour in Ogun State, Prince Lanre Tejusoho, ex-Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Honourable Soyemi Coker amongst other dignitaries and executives of the People’s Democratic Party.

Before resumption for the 2021-22 academic session, the foundation provided 600 school bags with 600 sandals to students in Ogun Central after staging a free summer coaching lesson during the holiday in August.
