Manchester City are European champions

Rodri’s super strike earns Manchester City their first Champions League trophy, beating hard-fighting Inter Milan by a lone goal in Istanbul on Saturday.

After a goalless and cagey first half, City needed a magician to breach the solid Inter’s defence and Rodri was the man to do so on 68 minutes.

Bernardo Silva slipped the ball to Rodri on the edge of the box and he found the right side of the net with a great effort.

Earlier on 27 minutes, Erling Haaland had time and space inside the box after picking up a neat pass, but his shot towards the left side of the goal was brilliantly saved by Andre Onana.
