American actor Jamie Foxx has broken his silence on his illness, via an emotional video he published on Instagram on Saturday.
“Thank u a billion to everybody… been a long road but all the prayers great people and God got me through”, he wrote in the caption for the video.
The 55 year-old Oscar winner denied media rumours that he was blind or paralysed.
But he said he was seriously ill and thanked his sister Deidra Dixon and his daughter Corinne for saving his life.
He also thanked God and the “great medical people” who treated him.
Jamie also thanked fans for their prayers.
The actor was hospitalised on 11 April while in Atlanta filming the movie ‘Back in Action’.
