Spain, Brazil settle for draw in six-goal thriller

Brazil held Spain to an exciting 3-3 draw on Tuesday in an international friendly match at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Brazil came from behind thrice to draw with Spain. Two penalties were converted by Rodri and a brilliant goal by Dani Olmo.

He home side had opened the scoring in the 12th minute from the penalty spot. Rodri put the ball into the middle of the goal past the outstretched arm of Bento.

Olmo doubled for Spain in the 35th minute, finishing his beautiful individual effort with a superb strike from inside the box.

Four minutes later, Brazil pulled one back. Rodrygo received the ball on the edge of the box and lobbed the goalkeeper, who was off his line.

Ten minutes after the restart, Brazil equalised. The ball from the corner slipped through the box to Endrick and he fired it into the bottom left corner, giving the goalkeeper no chance to make it 2-2.

Spain were awarded another penalty in the 87th minute of the match. Rodri won the battle of wills and sent an unstoppable penalty past Bento into left side of the goal.

Brazil equalised seven minutes into added time from the penalty spot. Lucas Paqueta ran up to the ball, stopped and waited for Unai Simon to commit before slotting the penalty into the left of the goal.
