Arsenal beat Luton Town

Arsenal’s bid for a premier league title received a boost as they beat Luton Town 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium to move top of the league on Wednesday.

The Gunners had opened the scoring midway into the first half. Kai Havertz was in a good shooting position, but he saw his teammate and passed the ball to him. Martin Odegaard took it nicely and beat the goalkeeper with a precise shot into the bottom left corner to make the score 1-0.

In the 34th minute, Odegaard latched on to a precise pass and one-on-one with the keeper slammed the ball towards the right-hand post. Thomas Kaminski was alert and leapt like to deny him.

It was 2-0 for Arsenal in the 44th minute from an own goal. Daiki Hashioka scored an unfortunately own goal.

Two minutes to the end of the game, a snap shot by Eddie Nketiah from the edge of the area flew towards the bottom left corner, but Thomas Kaminski produced a good save to thwart him.
