Arsenal thrashed Brighton 3-0 on Saturday to move top of the English Premier League and boost their chance of winning a premier league title in 20 years.

The Gunners opened the scoring in the 31st minute from the penalty spot. Bukayo Saka drove the ball low into the left of the net, giving goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen no chance.

In 44th minute, Julio Enciso got into a good scoring position. He created some space for himself and tried his luck from distance. His decent effort towards the top right corner was, however, superbly saved by David Raya.

Arsenal doubled their lead midway into the second half. Jorginho picked out Kai Havertz with a pass, and he latched on to it deep inside the box and beat the goalkeeper.

Arsenal made it 0-3 four minutes to the end of the match. Havertz found Leandro Trossard inside the box, he spotted goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen off his line and chipped the ball into the net.
