Teenager drenches lover’s private parts with sanitiser, sets it ablaze

A 19-year-old man, Shivam, allegedly drenched his equally 19-year-old live-in partner’s private parts in Gurugram, Delhi, with sanitiser  and set it ablaze.

The unfortunate woman narrated that the accused poured sanitiser on her private parts, set it on fire and assaulted her with a knife for three days.

The woman from Tripura State, India has given a harrowing account of violence at the hands of her live-in partner in Gurugram, telling police that he poured sanitiser on her private parts and set it on fire.

She alleged that the accused then struck her on the head with a metal bottle, smashed it against household furniture, and went on to attack her with a knife.

In her statement to the Gurugram Police, according to INDIA TODAY, the woman alleged that the violence continued for three consecutive days and that her partner forced physical relations on her on the pretext of marriage.

The survivor, a biotechnology student studying in Gurugram, is in critical condition after alleging that her partner assaulted her on February 19 after an argument over their marriage plans.

She is said to be undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

Police have arrested Shivam, a Delhi resident, and sent him to judicial custody.
