Owner of tragic B&B Hotel Lavkesh Bajaj arrested

Delhi Police have detained the owner R&B Hotel, Lavkesh Bajaj, in connection with the deadly Malviya Nagar fire tragedy that claimed 21 lives, including foreign nationals.

Earlier, police had issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Bajaj and his wife as investigators intensified efforts to trace those responsible for the operation of the guest house where the fire broke out.

The blaze, reported around 9 am, triggered a massive rescue operation involving multiple firefighting vehicles.

More than 40 people were rescued and shifted to nearby hospitals, according to local media reports.
