Michelle Aigbe, daughter of Nollywood actress and producer Mercy Aigbe, has expressed pride and admiration for her mother following her recent win at the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Mercy Aigbe took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her powerful role in Farmer’s Bride, beating out industry veterans including Ireti Doyle, Meg Otanwa, Tina Mba, Ini Dima-Okojie, Omoni Oboli, and Darasimi Nadi.

Taking to her Instagram page, Michelle shared heartfelt words alongside photos of herself and her mother at the awards ceremony.

“OMG!! I’m so proud of my mom!! Congratulations, mummy, on this well-deserved award! Your hard work, dedication, and grace never go unnoticed. You’ve sown in excellence and now you’re reaping the reward. Love you sooo much!”
