EPL Title Race: Guardiola sends warning to Arsenal

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said his side must defeat Arsenal when both teams meet in the Premier League, as the match could play a major role in deciding the title race.

Guardiola made this known after Manchester City came from a goal down to record a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Liverpool on Sunday.

The win helped City maintain a six-point gap behind Arsenal, who are currently top of the Premier League table.

According to Guardiola, City’s main task is to continue putting pressure on Mikel Arteta’s team and remain close enough to take advantage of any slip-up from the league leaders.

“All we can do is stay close to Arsenal, keep the pressure on them and be ready to take our chance if they make a mistake,” Guardiola said.

The City boss also stressed the importance of their upcoming home clash against Arsenal, describing it as a must-win game.

“We still have to play them at home, so of course we have to beat them,” he added.

Guardiola believes that the outcome of the match could have a significant impact on who eventually wins the Premier League title this season.
