MultiChoice Nigeria has announced a special Open View initiative for selected DStv and GOtv subscribers following Arsenal’s dramatic Premier League title triumph, giving more Nigerian football fans access to the club’s UEFA Champions League final showdown against Paris Saint-Germain.

Under the initiative, DStv Access customers will enjoy access to SS Football Finals on Channel 202 and SS Football on Channel 205 from Monday, May 25, ahead of the highly anticipated Champions League final scheduled for Saturday, May 30.

The Open View window will also extend to GOtv Plus customers, who will be able to watch the final live on SS Football Channel 61.

In the build-up to the final, viewers will enjoy a selection of classic UEFA Champions League fixtures, as well as memorable matches involving Arsenal and PSG, creating excitement ahead of one of the biggest nights in European football.

Live studio coverage of the final will commence at 3:30 p.m. on match day, while kick-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, Kemi Omotosho, said the decision was aimed at celebrating Arsenal’s title success with millions of football lovers in Nigeria.

“Arsenal’s return to the summit of English football has sparked massive excitement among supporters in Nigeria, which is home to one of the club’s largest fan communities globally. As anticipation builds around a possible European triumph, this is our way of celebrating with customers while giving more fans the opportunity to be part of what could be another historic night,” she said.

Arsenal secured their first English Premier League title in 22 years after Manchester City failed to defeat AFC Bournemouth, officially handing the North London side the title.

The Gunners will now shift focus to the Champions League final against PSG as they seek to complete a remarkable double-winning season.

As part of the broader football celebration, DStv will also open selected Premier League fixtures to subscribers on Sunday, May 24, including matches involving Crystal Palace against Arsenal, Manchester City versus Aston Villa, Liverpool against Brentford, and Tottenham Hotspur versus Everton.

The company said viewers should expect extensive coverage of the Champions League final, including pre-match analysis, live commentary, post-match reactions, and trophy presentation coverage on SuperSport channels.
