EPL: Bruno Fernandes Wins Premier League Player of the Season Award

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been officially named the Premier League Player of the Season after an outstanding campaign in England’s top football division.

The Portuguese midfielder also recently received another major recognition when he was named the Football Writers’ Association Men’s Player of the Year, further confirming his impressive form throughout the season.

Fernandes enjoyed a remarkable season for Manchester United, playing a key role in the team’s strong performance. He created a total of 132 goal scoring chances, which is more than any other player in the league. This shows how important he has been in setting up attacking opportunities for his teammates.

He also matched a long standing Premier League record for assists in a single season after providing his twentieth assist in a match against Nottingham Forest. His creativity and vision in midfield helped Manchester United maintain consistent attacking pressure throughout the campaign.

In addition to his playmaking contributions, Fernandes also scored eight goals in thirty seven appearances. His overall performance helped Manchester United finish in third place on the league table, which secured qualification for the UEFA Champions League next season.

With this achievement, Fernandes becomes the first Manchester United player to win the Premier League Player of the Season award since Nemanja Vidic won it in 2011.

The award winner is decided through a combination of public voting and assessment by a panel of football experts, making it one of the most respected individual honours in English football.

Other top players who were shortlisted for the award include Erling Haaland, Declan Rice, David Raya, Gabriel Magalhaes, Antoine Semenyo, Igor Thiago, and Morgan Gibbs White.
