Super Eagles Team Coordinator, Emmanuel Attah, has been fired.
Attah, FA chairman of Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, is one of a score of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF officials in court for contempt.
The contempt case was heard early today at the Lagos High Court. A letter, signed by the Acting Secretary General of the Federation, instructed Attah to stand down pending the outcome of the lawsuit.
The FCT FA chairman becomes the second high profile administrative casualty of the court proceedings which followed the NFF elections in August.
Musa Amadu was also asked to stand down as Acting Secretary General, less than three weeks after being asked to oversee affairs at the NFF following the nullification of the elections.
